We analyze product acceptance among selected consumers, assessing their user experience and preferences.
Acceptance studies
Product acceptance
During the development of a cosmetic product, it may be necessary to verify its acceptance by future consumers.
Consumer panels enable assessment of aspects of the product’s presentation and its organoleptic characteristics. This type of study helps determine how users perceive the product before moving forward with its development or launch.
The results obtained allow the manufacturer to assess product acceptance and identify possible improvements. This information can be key to optimizing the formula or certain attributes before the product goes to market.
After a defined period of use, the panelists complete an evaluation questionnaire that captures their preferences, perceptions and level of satisfaction.
Evaluation methodology
Consumer panel methodology
The panels are designed as surveys aimed at a specific population, selected according to criteria such as age, sex or product usage profile. They usually involve 50 to 60 panelists. Participants use the product blindly, that is, in neutral containers with no commercial identification. In certain studies, the product is compared with another cosmetic product presented under the same conditions.
