At ANMAR Clinical Services we conduct efficacy studies to support the claims or allegations that the manufacturer wishes to attribute to a cosmetic product.
Cosmetic claims may be related to different functional or usage benefits. The most common include moisturizing, firming, anti-aging, improved elasticity and sebum-regulating effects.
These claims must be based on the properties of the ingredients contained in the cosmetic product. These properties are usually described in the literature, except in the case of completely new ingredients.
The best-known analyzers include Corneometer, Cutometer, Mexameter, Sebometer, Tewameter and high-precision cameras such as VisioScan or VisioLine.

To demonstrate the product’s efficacy and support its claims, clinical studies are conducted with healthy volunteers. During these studies, the product is applied to specific treatment areas and instrumental measurements are used to collect information on the appearance of the skin before and after application.
There are different analyzers that allow the efficacy of the cosmetic product to be measured objectively. These tools enable data collection on various skin parameters and help assess progress after using the product.
